Hi everyone!
Well Clara's 2nd birthday party was a combined BBQ cook off at church and lady bug party! She had a blast! (despite the fact that we could not get a good picture of her the whole night!) The event was a great success, we had 38 people there!! (We only have about 50 in our entire congregation, including children!) Dan and I entered our smoked turkey and brisket. We smoked the brisket 16 1/2 hours and the turkey breast for about 6 hours (it was much smaller!). We won the contest! We tied with ourselves for first, it was even votes for the turkey and the brisket. Clara got some fun stuff, her favorite was her Dora bouncy ball, but when we went home and opened her other gifts, she really likes her wooden noah's ark set! It's been so nice not having school, I still am feeling pretty sick a lot of the time from the pregnancy, so I'm not getting a lot accomplished, but it's nice that I don't HAVE to get a lot accomplished. Man, she a so frikin cute! :) I am looking forward to seeing what the tiny one comes out looking like. I think it might be a boy - just a feeling. Love to you all! When are you coming to TX this summer?
