It's Been A While...

HI everyone! It's been a while since I posted, so I thought I should give everyone an update. As of tomorrow I'll be 32 weeks pregnant (that's 8 months for those of you who insist on monthly counting of gestation, I don't like it though!) I am feeling way more pregnant at this point that I did last time at this point! I finally had to break down and buy some maternity clothes and start wearing them. I actually felt a little better not just wearing scrubs or sweats! I'll try to get Dan to take a belly shot today so you can see the progress! I am really enjoying working right now, I love my job and my department. It is so nice to be done with school, and have a clear picture of what I want career wise and feel so content about it. I have been reading a lot of inspirational Christian women blogs lately and we just recently started a ladies devo at my church. Clara is growing like crazy and is always amazing us with how smart she is! She can usually count to 12 (although occasionally she'll say 11 instead of 7 and that makes the whole endeavor much shorter!) she can also pretty much sing the ABC song with a little assistance. Her favorite letters are W,X,Y,Z so sometimes she just skips to them! She is starting to talk about the baby sister a lot now, so we are hoping that maybe she has a tiny clue as to what's going on, so it won't be too much of a shock when we bring the new baby home! She goes to a friend from church's house 2 days a week while Dan practices and I sleep for work. She loves it! They have a great yard and they play outside a lot which is Clara's favorite thing to do. Dan has finished teaching his Bible class on Phillipians at our church, and is back to his "other" work-church most Sundays now, but he meets us at our church a little late. He is getting really involved in some of the review type committees at the church to revamp some of the old by-laws etc at our church. He is also getting ready for audition season! Fortunatly most of the auditions will happen while I am on maternity leave, so we won't have to worry too much about childcare at that point, and he might even be able to get some sleep the nights before he has to sing! We are all really longing to move back to Texas, we are not New Englanders by any stretch of the imagination, and this is going on our 5th year here. Hopefully soon we will be able to move back down! Hope you enjoy the pics! They are just some random ones we've taken recentely!

Can't wait for the belly pic!

Clara is getting so big, she just adorable!!!

Yay for coming back to TX...if you are interested in working as a Nurse Midwife, Austin is the place. Otherwise, your home town has a ton of hospitals, right?

I'm glad you like you job, I am sure you are FABULOUS at it.

My midwife and a few others here opened a Birthing Center at the beginning of the year. They are so booked they are having to turn people away! Awesome for the the Normal Birthing revolution. Needless to say, she wants me to hurry and finish my Doula certification so I can free lance for her. It would be awsome because I can still be a full time mom and make money on the side.

ANYWAY! I would love to send you a baby gift...what do you want/need? Message me your address on Facebook.

Love you!
