Hey everyone! After a very very busy break I am back in school. This semester I have a lighter school load but I think I will be challenged more than I ever have before. We are examining issues in nursing in 2 of my classes, lots of very LIBERAL agendas are being pushed here and it's so hard for me to want to speak out about my decision, let alone defend it! I am the only one in my class who has conservative views. (I know, I know that 's what I get for living in CT) At any rate, I am looking forward to my preceptorship. I am working in a labor and delivery floor at St. Francis hospital in Hartford. It's a long drive, but I am lucky to be able to work there. Now let's just hope I won't get in trouble for my crazy birthing ideas!! Well I guess I should post a picture of Clara, she is sick right now (she's only been sick 2 other times) but here is a picture of her from Christmas!

PS- They're birthing ideas are the ones that are crazy and irrational! :) Really, they are just confirming why you want to be a midwife.
hey! Well at my school their birthing ideas are really right on, it's their politics (i.e. universal healthcare, the govt. should run our lives, YEA taxes and Obama/Hilary are the best things for our country!!!)
